Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यक्षराक्षससर्पाणां दैत्यदानवयोरपि । वपुर्धारयते देवो भूयश्व विलवासिनाम्
yakṣarākṣasasarpaṇāṁ daityadānavayor api | vapur dhārayate devo bhūyaś ca bilavāsinām ||
Dijo Vāsudeva: «El Señor divino asume formas incluso entre los yakṣas, los rākṣasas y las serpientes, y asimismo entre los daityas y los dānavas; y, una y otra vez, toma también los cuerpos de quienes habitan en los reinos subterráneos.»
