Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
नराणां देवनारीणां तथा प्रेतपिशाचयो: । किरातशबराणां च जलजानामनेकश:
narāṇāṁ devanārīṇāṁ tathā pretapiśācayoḥ | kirātaśabarāṇāṁ ca jalajānām anekaśaḥ ||
Dijo Vāsudeva: «Entre los seres humanos, entre las mujeres celestiales, y asimismo entre los pretas y los piśācas; entre los Kirātas y los Śabaras también; y entre las muchas clases de criaturas nacidas en las aguas—(este principio se ve por doquier)».
