अंगिरा उवाच यस्तु संवत्सरं पूर्ण दद्याद्‌ दीपं करञ्जके । सुवर्चलामूलहस्त: प्रजा तस्य विवर्धते

Transliteration

aṅgirā uvāca | yastu saṃvatsaraṃ pūrṇaṃ dadyād dīpaṃ karañjake | suvarcalāmūlahastaḥ prajā tasya vivardhate ||

Translation

Aṅgirā dijo: «Quien, durante un año entero, ofrezca una lámpara bajo un árbol karañja y mantenga en su mano la raíz de suvarcalā (hierba medicinal sagrada), verá crecer su descendencia».
