तस्य दोषान् प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छुणुध्वं समाहिता: । अग्नि बोले--जो दुर्बुद्धि मनुष्य लात उठाकर उससे गौका
tasya doṣān pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇudhvaṃ samāhitāḥ |
Dharma dijo: «Ahora declararé las faltas (pecados y deméritos) que nacen de tal conducta. Escuchad con la mente recogida». En el contexto, está por enumerar las graves consecuencias éticas en que incurre un necio que, por arrogancia, patea y llega a tocar a una vaca, a un venerable brāhmaṇa o a un fuego encendido: actos tenidos por serias transgresiones del dharma.
