मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
भूर्भुवं चापि देवर्षि विश्वरूपमवेक्षते | तत्र देवाधिदेवस्थ कुमार्यो रमयन्ति तम्
bhūrbhuvaṁ cāpi devarṣi viśvarūpam avekṣate | tatra devādhidevastha kumāryo ramayanti tam ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Oh vidente divino, él contempla la visión cósmica de todas las formas, que abarca Bhūr y Bhuvar (los ámbitos de la tierra y de la atmósfera). Allí, en presencia del Dios de los dioses, las doncellas celestiales se deleitan en alegrarlo y entretenerlo».
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the fruit of elevated spiritual vision: one who attains contemplation of the universal form transcends limited worldly perception and is admitted to divine proximity, where refined, celestial joys are portrayed as accompanying that exalted state.
Bhīṣma describes to a divine seer the experience of beholding the viśvarūpa spanning the realms of Bhū and Bhuvar; within that divine sphere, in the presence/abode of the supreme deity (Devādhideva), celestial maidens are said to delight and entertain him.
