मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
नूपुराणां निनादेन मेखलानां च नि:स्वनै: । उसे अग्निकी ज्वालाके समान प्रकाशमान, हंस और मयूरोंसे सेवित, सुवर्णजटित उत्तम विमान प्राप्त होता है और वह अप्सराओंके अंकमें सोकर उन्हींके कांचीकलाप तथा नूपुरोंकी मधुर ध्वनिसे जगाया जाता है ।।
nūpurāṇāṁ ninādena mekhalānāṁ ca niḥsvanaiḥ | agnijvālāsamaprakhyaṁ haṁsamayūrasevitaṁ suvarṇajaṭitaṁ uttamaṁ vimānaṁ prāpnoti, apsarāṇām aṅke suptaḥ tābhir eva kāñcīkalāpanūpurāṇāṁ madhuradhvanibhiḥ prabodhyate || koṭisahasraṁ varṣāṇāṁ trīṇi koṭiśatāni ca, lomnāṁ pramāṇena samaṁ brahmaloke mahīyate ||
Dijo Bhishma: Por el tintinear de los tobilleros y el suave resonar de los ceñidores, él es despertado. Alcanza un espléndido vimana, radiante como una llama, adornado con oro y atendido por cisnes y pavos reales; duerme en el regazo de las apsaras y es alzado del sueño por los dulces sonidos de sus cinturones enjoyados y sus tobilleras. Durante un lapso medido en inmensas cifras de años—contado según la comparación indicada, como si fueran tantos como los cabellos—es honrado en el mundo de Brahmā.
