मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
ऊर्ध्व विचित्रसंकाशे नैको वसति पूजित: । जिस विमानपर वह विराजमान होता है
ūrdhva-vicitra-saṅkāśe naiko vasati pūjitaḥ | yāvad varṣa-sahasraṃ vai jambūdvīpe pravarṣati ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «En una mansión celeste elevada, cuya parte superior aparece prodigiosamente jaspeada de colores, habitan más de un ser honrado. Mientras durante mil años caiga la lluvia sobre Jambudvīpa, por tanto tiempo permanece allí aquel venerable—resplandeciente en su carro aéreo luminoso—gozando de estima y compañía, como fruto de la conducta meritoria.»
