दिवं हंसप्रयुक्तेन विमानेन स गच्छति । शतं वर्षसहसत्राणां मोदते स दिवि प्रभो
divaṁ haṁsaprayuktena vimānena sa gacchati | śataṁ varṣasahasrāṇāṁ modate sa divi prabho ||
Dijo Aṅgiras: «Parte al cielo en un carro celestial (vimāna) tirado por cisnes, y allí, oh señor, se regocija en el cielo durante cien mil años». El verso expone la lógica ética de la retribución kármica: la conducta meritoria produce logros excelsos tras la muerte y un prolongado goce celeste.
अंगियरा उवाच
The verse underscores karmic fruition: righteous or meritorious action leads to elevated posthumous results—symbolized by ascent to heaven in a celestial vimāna—and sustained enjoyment there for an immense duration.
Aṅgiras describes the destiny of a meritorious person: he is conveyed to heaven in a swan-drawn celestial chariot and experiences heavenly delight for ‘a hundred thousand years,’ emphasizing the grandeur of the reward.
