अद्यन्द्रं स्थापयिष्यामि पश्यतस्ते शतक्रतुम् । संचाल्य पापकर्माणमैन्द्रात् स्थानात् सुदुर्मतिम्
adyendraṁ sthāpayiṣyāmi paśyatas te śatakratum | sañcālya pāpakarmāṇam aindrāt sthānāt sudurmatim ||
Agastya dijo: «Hoy, ante tus propios ojos, restituiré a Śatakratu (Indra). Expulsaré de la sede misma de Indra a ese malhechor, de mente perversa, y volveré a sentar en el trono al señor legítimo.»
अगस्त्य उवाच
The verse emphasizes restoration of rightful authority and the removal of corrupt, sinful rule: moral order (dharma) requires that an unworthy usurper be expelled and the legitimate holder of office be re-established.
Agastya declares that he will, in the listeners’ presence, expel a wicked-minded wrongdoer from Indra’s position and reinstall Indra (Śatakratu) on the divine throne.
