Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
बलय: सह पुष्पैस्तु देवानामुपहारयेत् । दधिदुग्धमया: पुण्या: सुगंधा: प्रियदर्शना:,देवताओंको जो बलि दी जाय, वह दही-दूधकी बनी हुई, परम पवित्र, सुगंधित, दर्शनीय और फूलोंसे सुशोभित होनी चाहिये
balayaḥ saha puṣpaistu devānām upahārayet | dadhidugdhamayāḥ puṇyāḥ sugandhāḥ priyadarśanāḥ ||
Śukra dijo: «Deben presentarse ofrendas a los dioses junto con flores. Las oblaciones han de ser de cuajada y leche: puras, fragantes y gratas a la vista.»
शुक्र उवाच
Worship should be performed with purity and reverence: offerings to the gods ought to be clean, fragrant, and aesthetically pleasing, symbolizing inner sincerity and disciplined devotion.
Śukra is giving prescriptive guidance on proper ritual conduct, specifying the appropriate qualities and materials (curd, milk, flowers) for offerings made to the gods.
