कुर्यात् तथैव देवा वै प्रीयन्ते मधुसूदन । कुर्यादहरह: श्राद्धमन्नाद्यंनोदकेन च
kuryāt tathaiva devā vai prīyante madhusūdana | kuryād aharahaḥ śrāddham annādyaṃ nodakena ca ||
«Obra de ese mismo modo; así, en verdad, los dioses quedan complacidos, oh Madhusūdana. Debe hacerse śrāddha día tras día, ofreciendo alimentos y otras provisiones, y también agua.»
