पूर्वदेहे यथा वृत्तं तन्निबोध द्विजोत्तम । जातिं स्मराम्यहं ब्रह्मन्नवधानेन मे शृूणु
Translation
Oh el más excelso entre los dos veces nacidos, escucha lo que aconteció cuando en una vida anterior tomamos cuerpo. Oh brāhmaṇa, recuerdo los hechos de mi nacimiento pasado: oye mis palabras con atención.
