Kaca–Devayānī Dialogue and the Curse on Vidyā
कृतकार्या ततस्तूर्णमगच्छच्छक्रसंसदम् | त॑ं वने विजने गर्भ सिंहव्याप्रसमाकुले
kṛtakāryā tatas tūrṇam agacchac chakrasaṃsadam | taṃ vane vijane garbha siṃhavyāghrasamākule
Habiendo cumplido su propósito, ella partió con presteza hacia la asamblea de Śakra (Indra). En aquel bosque solitario y apartado—donde la encinta fue dejada en una región frecuentada por leones y tigres—Kaṇva describe el paraje peligroso que enmarca la responsabilidad moral de proteger y cuidar.
