वैशम्पायन उवाच
Knowledge of the divine order—seeing the Supreme as the basis of creation and dissolution, and understanding the world’s events (including divine descents) within that frame—gives inner steadiness, so one does not collapse into despair during adversity.
Vaiśampāyana states a reflective conclusion: after hearing about the aṁśāvataraṇas of various celestial and demonic beings, a discerning listener who grasps the cosmic governance behind events remains composed even when great troubles arise.
