इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आदिपर्वके अन्तर्गत अंशावतरणपर्वमें चौंसठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārata ādiparvake antargata aṃśāvataraṇaparvaṇi catuḥṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat.
Así concluye el capítulo sexagésimo cuarto de la sección Aṃśāvataraṇa, dentro del Ādi Parva del venerado Mahābhārata. Este colofón señala un cierre formal y recuerda al oyente que el despliegue de los sucesos del poema está enmarcado en un designio sagrado mayor: las manifestaciones divinas y sus consecuencias morales.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
This line functions as a colophon: it teaches attentiveness to textual structure and framing, signaling that the preceding narration belongs to the Aṃśāvataraṇa theme—events are presented as part of a larger moral and cosmic order rather than isolated incidents.
