Tapovana-praveśaḥ — The King’s Entry into the Sacred Grove and Vision of the Āśrama
अस्या भूमेर्निरसितुं भारं भागै: पृथक् पृथक् । अस्यामेव प्रसूयध्वं विरोधायेति चाब्रवीत्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्! सम्पूर्ण भूतोंकी सृष्टि करनेवाले भगवान् ब्रह्माजीने ऐसा कहकर उस समय पृथ्वीको तो विदा कर दिया और समस्त देवताओंको यह आदेश दिया--'देवताओ! तुम इस पृथ्वीका भार उतारनेके लिये अपने-अपने अंशसे पृथ्वीके विभिन्न भागोंमें पृथक्ू-पृथक् जन्म ग्रहण करो। वहाँ असुरोंसे विरोध करके अभीष्ट उद्देश्यकी सिद्धि करनी होगी”
asyā bhūmer nirasituṁ bhāraṁ bhāgaiḥ pṛthak pṛthak | asyām eva prasūyadhvaṁ virodhāyeti cābravīt ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: “Para quitar el peso de esta Tierra, (Brahmā) instruyó a los dioses: ‘Naced en esta misma Tierra, cada uno tomando una porción distinta de su propio poder divino, en regiones diferentes. Allí debéis oponeros a las fuerzas asúricas, para que se cumpla el propósito deseado.’”
