ततो दुर्योधन: क्रूर: कर्णश्ष सहसौबल: । तेषां निग्रहनिर्वासान् विविधांस्ते समारभन्,तब क्रूर दुर्योधन, कर्ण और शकुनि तीनोंने मिलकर पाण्डवोंको वशमें करने या देशसे निकाल देनेके लिये नाना प्रकारके यत्न आरम्भ किये
tato duryodhanaḥ krūraḥ karṇaś ca sahasauvalaḥ | teṣāṃ nigrahanirvāsān vividhāṃs te samārabhan |
