रुरोरपि सुतो जज्ञे शुन॒को वेदपारग: । प्रमद्वरायां धर्मात्मा तव पूर्वपितामह:,रुरुके पुत्र शुनक थे, जिनका जन्म प्रमद्वराके गर्भसे हुआ था। शुनक वेदोंके पारंगत विद्वान् और धर्मात्मा थे। वे आपके पूर्व पितामह थे
ruror api suto jajñe śunako vedapāragaḥ | pramadvarāyāṃ dharmātmā tava pūrvapitāmahaḥ ||
De Ruru también nació un hijo: Śunaka, consumado en los Vedas. Nacido de Pramadvarā, fue recto en su conducta; y en tu linaje figura como un antepasado de tiempos antiguos.
