आरम्भ: सफलो देवि भविता यस्त्वयेप्सित: । जनयिष्यसि पुत्री द्वौ वीरौ त्रिभुवनेश्वरी,“देवि! तुम्हारा यह अभीष्ट समारम्भ अवश्य सफल होगा। तुम ऐसे दो पुत्रोंको जन्म दोगी, जो बड़े वीर और तीनों लोकोंपर शासन करनेकी शक्ति रखनेवाले होंगे
ārambhaḥ saphalo devi bhavitā yastvayepsitaḥ | janayiṣyasi putrī dvau vīrau tribhuvaneśvarī ||
Śaunaka dijo: «Oh diosa, la empresa que deseas sin duda tendrá éxito. Darás a luz a dos hijos—héroes poderosos—dotados del poder de gobernar los tres mundos».
शौनक उवाच
