Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
न-आऔका-<० ड-ण करा - “कनिष्छान् पुत्रवत् पश्येज्ज्येष्ठो भ्राता पितु: समः' अर्थात् “बड़ा भाई पिताके समान होता है। वह अपने छोटे भाइयोंको पुत्रके समान देखे।” यह शास्त्रकी आज्ञा है। जिनमें फूट हो जाती है
Ugraśravā uvāca— spṛṣṭamātrā tu pādābhyāṃ sā garuḍena balīyasā | abhajyata taroḥ śākhā bhagnāṃ cainām adhārayat ||
Ugraśravas dijo: «¡Oh Śaunaka y demás grandes rishis! En el instante en que los pies del poderosísimo Garuḍa apenas la tocaron, aquella gran rama del árbol se quebró. Sin embargo, aun rota, él la asió y la sostuvo, impidiendo que cayera: un acto que revela tanto su fuerza inmensa como su dominio de sí para no causar daño a otros.»
