स॒तच्छुत्वा आरुणिरुपाध्यायवाक्यं तस्मात् केदारखण्डातू सहसोत्थाय तमुपाध्यायमुपतस्थे,उपाध्यायका यह वचन सुनकर आरुणि पांचाल सहसा उस क्यारीकी मेड़से उठा और उपाध्यायके समीप आकर खड़ा हो गया
tat śrutvā āruṇir upādhyāya-vākyaṃ tasmāt kedāra-khaṇḍāt tu sahasotthāya tam upādhyāyam upatasthe
Al oír las palabras de su maestro, Āruṇi se incorporó de inmediato desde aquel tramo del arrozal y se acercó a su preceptor, quedando de pie ante él con atenta disposición, mostrando pronta obediencia y disciplinado respeto al mandato del guru.
राम उवाच
The verse highlights śiṣya-dharma: prompt, respectful responsiveness to the guru’s instruction. Ethical training is shown through readiness to serve and disciplined attention rather than delay or argument.
Āruṇi hears his teacher’s words while in a section of the cultivated field. He immediately gets up and approaches the teacher, standing before him to receive or carry out further instruction.
