एवं तौ समनुज्ञातौ पावकेन महात्मना । अर्जुनो वासुदेवश्न॒ दानवश्न मयस्तथा,भरतश्रेष्ठ! महात्मा अग्निदेवके इस प्रकार आज्ञा देनेपर अर्जुन, श्रीकृष्ण तथा मयासुर सबने उनकी परिक्रमा की। फिर तीनों ही यमुनानदीके रमणीय तटपर जाकर एक साथ बैठे
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
evaṃ tau samanujñātau pāvakena mahātmanā |
arjuno vāsudevaś ca dānavaś ca mayas tathā ||
(bharataśreṣṭha!)
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Así, cuando el magnánimo dios del Fuego, Pāvaka, les concedió debidamente permiso, Arjuna y Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), y también el dánava Maya —oh el mejor de los Bhāratas— lo circunvalaron con reverencia. Luego los tres fueron a la deleitosa ribera del Yamunā y se sentaron juntos.
