एष हि प्रज्वलन्नग्निर्लेलिहानो महीरुहान् । आगविग्ने हृदि संतापं जनयत्यशिवं मम,यह प्रज्वलित आग सारे वृक्षोंको अपनी लपटोंमें लपेटती हुई मेरे उद्विग्न हृदयमें अमंगलसूचक संताप उत्पन्न कर रही है
eṣa hi prajvalann agnir lelihāno mahīruhān | āgavigne hṛdi santāpaṃ janayaty aśivaṃ mama ||
Mandapāla dijo: «Mira: este fuego arde con furia, y sus lenguas de llama lamen los árboles. En mi corazón, estremecido por el pavor ante el incendio, enciende una angustia de mal agüero, una aflicción ominosa».
