अग्निभय-प्रसङ्गे मन्दपालस्य शोकः

Mandapāla’s Lament amid the Threat of Fire

देवदानवगन्धर्व: पूजितं शाश्वती: समा: । प्रादाच्चैव धनूरत्नमक्षय्ये च महेषुधी

Transliteration

devadānavagandharvaiḥ pūjitaṃ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ | prādāccaiva dhanuratnam akṣayye ca maheṣudhī ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Honrado por dioses, Dānavas y Gandharvas durante incontables años, otorgó también un arco cual joya, junto con dos grandes aljabas inagotables: dones que señalan un favor perdurable y la entrega de la responsabilidad guerrera.»
