उपसूष्टं तु तं कृष्णौ भ्राजमानं द्विजोत्तमम्‌ । अर्जुनो वासुदेवश्च तूर्णमुत्पत्य तस्थतु:,वे तेजस्वी द्विजश्रेष्ठ जब निकट आ गये, तब अर्जुन और भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण तुरंत ही आसनसे उठकर खड़े हो गये

upasūṣṭaṃ tu taṃ kṛṣṇau bhrājamānaṃ dvijottamam | arjuno vāsudevaś ca tūṛṇam utpatya tasthatuḥ ||

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Cuando aquel brahmán resplandeciente, el mejor entre los dvija, se acercó y fue anunciado como es debido, Arjuna y Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) se levantaron al instante de sus asientos y quedaron en pie en señal de reverencia.
