ददर्श पाण्डवस्तत्र पावकं सुसमाहित: । कौरव्यस्याथ नागस्य भवने परमार्चिते,नागराज कौरव्यके परम सुन्दर भवनमें पहुँचकर पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनने एकाग्रचित्त होकर देखा, तो वहाँ अग्नि प्रज्वलित हो रही थी
dadarśa pāṇḍavas tatra pāvakaṃ susamāhitaḥ | kauravyasyātha nāgasya bhavane paramārcite ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Allí, el Pāṇḍava (Arjuna), con la mente firmemente recogida, contempló el fuego que ardía en la espléndida y altamente honrada morada del Nāga llamado Kauravya.
