त्वत्कृते दर्शनादेव रूपसम्पतत्कृतेन वै । विरोध: स्यथाद् यथा ताभ्यामन्योन्येन तथा कुरु,तुझे देखते ही तेरे लिये--तेरी रूपसम्पत्तिके लिये उन दोनों दैत्योंमें परस्पर विरोध हो जाय, ऐसा प्रयत्न कर
tvatkṛte darśanād eva rūpasampat-kṛtena vai | virodhaḥ syād yathā tābhyām anyonyena tathā kuru ||
Dijo Pitāmaha: «Dispónlo de tal modo que, con solo verte—por tu belleza y esplendorosa figura—esos dos Daityas caigan en enemistad mutua. Esfuérzate para que se vuelvan uno contra el otro.»
पितामह उवाच
The verse highlights a pragmatic (and ethically ambiguous) tactic: neutralize a threat by inducing internal division—turning adversaries against each other—rather than confronting them directly.
Pitāmaha instructs someone to use her striking beauty so that, upon seeing her, two Daityas become jealous and hostile toward one another, thereby creating a rift between them.
