अर्जुनस्य तीर्थयात्रा तथा मणलूर-सम्बन्धः

एकराज्यावेकगृहावेकशय्यासनाशनौ । तिलोत्तमायास्तौ हेतोरन्योन्यमभिजषध्नतु:,उनका एक ही राज्य था और एक ही घर। वे एक ही शय्यापर सोते, एक ही आसनपर बैठते और एक साथ ही भोजन करते थे। इस प्रकार आपसमें अटूट प्रेम होनेपर भी तिलोत्तमा अप्सराके लिये लड़कर उन्होंने एक-दूसरेको मार डाला
ekarājyāvekagṛhāvekśayyāsanāśanau | tilottamāyās tau hetor anyonyam abhijaṣadhnatuḥ ||
Compartían un solo reino y un solo hogar. Dormían en el mismo lecho, se sentaban en el mismo asiento y comían juntos. Y, sin embargo, pese a un afecto tan inseparable, por la apsaras Tilottamā cayeron en rivalidad y se dieron muerte el uno al otro.
