खाण्डवप्रस्थप्रवेशः तथा इन्द्रप्रस्थनिर्माणवर्णनम् | Entry into Khāṇḍavaprastha and Description of Indraprastha’s Founding
विदुरस्त्वथ तां भ्रुत्वा द्रौपदी पाण्डवैर्वृतान् । व्रीडितान् धार्तराष्ट्रांक्ष भग्नदर्पानुपागतान्,विदुरजीने जब यह सुना कि पाण्डवोंने द्रौपदीको प्राप्त किया है और धृतराष्ट्रके पुत्र अपना अभिमान चूर्ण हो जानेसे लज्जित होकर लौट आये हैं, तब वे मन-ही-मन बड़े प्रसन्न हुए। राजन! तब वे धृतराष्ट्रके पास जाकर विस्मयसूचक वाणीमें बोले--“महाराज! हमारा अहोभाग्य है, जो कौरववंशकी वृद्धि हो रही है
viduras tv atha tāṁ śrutvā draupadīṁ pāṇḍavair vṛtān | vrīḍitān dhārtarāṣṭrāṁś ca bhagnadarpān upāgatān ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Cuando Vidura oyó que Draupadī había sido ganada por los Pāṇḍava y que los hijos de Dhṛtarāṣṭra habían regresado avergonzados, con su orgullo hecho añicos, se alegró en su fuero interno. Luego fue ante el rey Dhṛtarāṣṭra y, con voz de asombro, dijo: «¡Oh Rey, qué fortuna la nuestra, pues la estirpe de los Kuru se ve fortalecida!»
