तमब्रवीदुग्रवर्चा: प्रहस्य नैवंशीला: शेषमिहाप्नुवन्ति । एते<प्येवं भवितार: पुरस्तात्‌ तस्मादेतां दरीमाविश्य शेष्व,तब भयंकर तेजवाले रुद्रने हँसकर कहा--*तुम्हारे-जैसे शील-स्वभाववाले लोगोंको यहाँ प्रसादकी प्राप्ति नहीं होती। ये लोग भी पहले तुम्हारेही-जैसे थे, अतः तुम भी इस कन्दरामें घुसकर शयन करो

Transliteration

tam abravīd ugravarcāḥ prahasya naivaṁśīlāḥ śeṣam ihāpnuvanti | ete 'py evaṁ bhavitāraḥ purastāt tasmād etāṁ darīm āviśya śeṣva ||

Translation

Entonces el resplandeciente y temible se echó a reír y le dijo: «Los de ánimo tan apacible como el tuyo no alcanzan aquí la gracia que resta. Estos también fueron antaño como tú; por eso entra en esta cueva y tiéndete a dormir».
