Adhyāya 196: Droṇa’s Conciliatory Counsel and Karṇa’s Suspicion of Counsel (मन्त्र-नय-विवादः)
ततो देवो गिरिशो वज्रपारणिं विवृत्य नेत्रे कुपितो5भ्युवाच । दरीमेतां प्रविश त्वं शतक्रतो यन्मां बाल्यादवमंस्था: पुरस्तात्
tato devo giriśo vajrapāraṇiṁ vivṛtya netre kupito ’bhyuvāca | darīm etāṁ praviśa tvaṁ śatakrato yan māṁ bālyād avamaṁsthāḥ purastāt ||
Entonces el dios Girīśa (Śiva), abriendo los ojos, se dirigió con ira a Vajrapāṇi (Indra): «Oh Śatakratu, entra en esta caverna, pues desde tu niñez me has menospreciado e insultado en mi propia presencia».
