उच्चैःश्रवसः वर्णविपणः तथा नागशापः
Uccaiḥśravas Color-Wager and the Nāga Curse
कौस्तुभस्तु मणिर्दिव्य उत्पन्नो घृत्सम्भव: । मरीचिविकच: श्रीमान् नारायण उरोगत:,फिर अनन्त किरणोंसे समुज्ज्वल दिव्य कौस्तुभभणिका उस जललसे प्रादुर्भाव हुआ, जो भगवान् नारायणके वक्ष:स्थलपर सुशोभित हुई
śaunaka uvāca |
kaustubhas tu maṇir divya utpanno ghṛta-sambhavaḥ |
marīci-vikacaḥ śrīmān nārāyaṇa uro-gataḥ ||
Luego surgió la joya divina Kaustubha —nacida de la rica esencia del batido—, radiante con rayos que se expandían y espléndida en hermosura. Fue a reposar sobre el pecho de Nārāyaṇa, donde brilló como emblema de Su soberanía y auspiciosidad.
