नच प्राणैर्वियुज्यन्ते केचित् तत्रास्य सैनिका: । विश्वामित्रस्य संक्रुद्धैर्वासिछ्ैर्भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ! क्रोधमें भरे हुए होनेपर भी वसिष्ठसेनाके सैनिक विश्वामित्रके किसी भी योद्धाका प्राण नहीं लेते थे
na ca prāṇair viyujyante kecit tatrāsya sainikāḥ | viśvāmitrasya saṃkruddhair vāsiṣṭhair bharatarṣabha ||
Dijo el Gandharva: «Y, sin embargo, oh toro entre los Bháratas, allí ninguno de sus soldados fue privado de la vida. Aunque airados en el choque con Viśvāmitra, los guerreros del bando de Vasiṣṭha no tomaron la vida de ninguno de los combatientes de Viśvāmitra».
