Arjuna dijo: «De Bharadvāja pasó a Agniveśya; de Agniveśya llegó a mi propio maestro. Y aquel supremo brahmán, Droṇa, me otorgó entonces esta gran (arma/conocimiento)».
अर्जुन उवाच
The verse highlights legitimate transmission of powerful knowledge through an authorized lineage (paramparā). Ethical force lies in receiving instruction from a qualified guru, implying responsibility, restraint, and dharmic use rather than mere possession of power.
Arjuna identifies the pedigree of a great weapon/secret martial knowledge: it passed from Bharadvāja to Agniveśya, then to Droṇa, and finally Droṇa bestowed it upon Arjuna, emphasizing Droṇa’s authority and the sanctity of the teacher-student bond.
