आर्ये जानासि यद् दुःखमिह स्त्रीणामनजड्रजम् | तदिदं मामनुप्राप्तं भीमसेनकृतं शुभे,'आर्ये! स्त्रियोंकोी इस जगत्में जो कामजनित पीड़ा होती है, उसे आप जानती ही हैं। शुभे! आपके पुत्र भीमसेनकी ओरसे मुझे वही कामदेवजनित वष्ट प्राप्त हुआ है
ārye jānāsi yad duḥkham iha strīṇām anajaḍrajam | tad idaṃ mām anuprāptaṃ bhīmasenakṛtaṃ śubhe |
«Señora noble, bien conoces el sufrimiento que padecen las mujeres en este mundo, nacido del deseo. Oh, auspiciosa, esa misma angustia engendrada por la pasión ha caído ahora sobre mí, provocada por tu hijo Bhīmasena.»
