समा हि कौरवेयाणां वयं ते चैव पुत्रक । नैते विषममिच्छेयुर्थर्मयुक्ता मनस्विन:,बेटा! इन सभी कुरुवंशियोंके लिये हमलोग और पाण्डव समान हैं। ये धर्मपरायण मनस्वी महापुरुष उनके प्रति विषम व्यवहार करना नहीं चाहेंगे

Transliteration

samā hi kauraveyāṇāṃ vayaṃ te caiva putraka | naite viṣamam iccheyur dharmayuktā manasvinaḥ ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra dijo: «Hijo mío, para todos los descendientes de Kuru, tanto nosotros como los hijos de Pāṇḍu somos igualmente queridos, igualmente nuestros. Esos hombres magnánimos, firmes en el dharma, no querrán obrar con parcialidad ni injusticia hacia ellos.»
