भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः
Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt
द्रुपद: कौरवान् दृष्टवा प्राधावत समन्ततः । शरजालेन महता मोहयन् कौरवीं चमूम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | drupadaḥ kauravān dṛṣṭvā prādhāvat samantataḥ | śarajālena mahatā mohayann kauravīṃ camūm |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Al ver a los Kauravas, el rey Drupada se lanzó contra ellos por todos los flancos. Tendiendo una inmensa red de flechas, sumió al ejército Kaurava en confusión y aturdimiento. Aunque combatía solo desde su carro, el terror que inspiraba hizo que los Kauravas lo vieran como si fueran muchos: imagen de cómo la destreza y el ímpetu en la batalla pueden agrandar la presencia de un solo guerrero y quebrantar la resolución de un ejército.
