वाहयित्वा कुमारांस्ताञ्जलक्रीडागतांस्तदा । प्रमाणकोट्यां वासार्थी सुष्वापावाप्य तत्‌ स्थलम्‌,वे जलक्रीड़ाके लिये आये हुए उन कुमारोंको साथ लेकर विश्राम करनेकी इच्छासे प्रमाणकोटिके उस गृहमें आये और वहीं एक स्थानमें सो गये

Transliteration

vāhayitvā kumārāṁs tāñ jalakrīḍāgatāṁs tadā | pramāṇakoṭyāṁ vāsārthī suṣvāpa āvāpy tat sthalam ||

Translation

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Habiendo llevado consigo a aquellos muchachos que habían venido a los juegos de agua, y deseoso de un lugar donde descansar, entró en la casa de Pramāṇakoṭī y se tendió a dormir allí, en cierto sitio. La escena recuerda que necesidades ordinarias—reposo y abrigo—pueden preparar el terreno para hechos decisivos, y que la cautela en espacios compartidos forma parte del recto deber.
