तत्रोपविष्टास्ते सर्वे पाण्डवा: कौरवाश्न ह । उपपन्नान् बहून् कामांस्ते भुज्जन्ति ततस्ततः,वहाँ पहुँचकर समस्त कौरव और पाण्डव यथायोग्य स्थानोंपर बैठ गये और स्वतः प्राप्त हुए नाना प्रकारके भोगोंका उपभोग करने लगे
tatro'paviṣṭās te sarve pāṇḍavāḥ kauravāś ca ha | upapannān bahūn kāmāṁs te bhuñjanti tatas tataḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Al llegar allí, todos los Pāṇḍavas y los Kauravas se sentaron en los lugares que les correspondían. Luego, cuando diversos manjares y comodidades se presentaron sin esfuerzo, participaron de aquellos placeres, uno tras otro—escena que subraya la conducta ordenada y la hospitalidad compartida, aun cuando bajo ella latía la rivalidad.
