पृष्ठतो$नुगमिष्यामि समेषु विषमेषु च । त्वामहं नरशार्दूल गच्छन्तमनिवर्तितुम्‌,नरश्रेष्ठ आप जहाँ कभी न लौटनेके लिये गये हैं, वहाँका मार्ग समतल हो या विषम, मैं आपके पीछे-पीछे अवश्य चली चलूँगी

Transliteration

pṛṣṭhato'nugamiṣyāmi sameṣu viṣameṣu ca | tvām ahaṃ naraśārdūla gacchantam anivartitum ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Te seguiré por detrás, ya sea el camino llano o áspero. Oh tigre entre los hombres, mientras avanzas sin volver jamás, yo también iré tras de ti».
