Pāṇḍu’s Funeral Rites and Public Mourning
पौरवाणां महाराज तेषामक्लिष्टकर्मणाम् | वंशे जातस्य कौरव्य नानुरूपमिदं तव,महाराज! क्लेशरहित कर्म करनेवाले कुरुवंशियोंके कुलमें जन्म लेकर तुमने जो यह कार्य किया है, यह तुम्हारे अनुरूप नहीं है
pauravāṇāṃ mahārāja teṣām akliṣṭakarmaṇām | vaṃśe jātasya kauravya nānurūpam idaṃ tava, mahārāja ||
Oh gran rey, has nacido en el linaje de los Pauravas, hombres cuyas obras no se manchan con crueldad ni con el daño infligido a otros. Oh Kauravya, este acto que has cometido no es digno de ti, oh rey.
