सा कदाचिदहं तत्र गता प्रथमयौवनम् । अथ धर्मविदां श्रेष्ठ: परमर्षि: पराशर:
sā kadācid ahaṃ tatra gatā prathamayauvanam | atha dharmavidāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ paramarṣiḥ parāśaraḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Una vez, en aquel lugar, fui cuando apenas entraba en la primera floración de la juventud. Entonces el supremo sabio Parāśara, el primero entre los conocedores del dharma, (llegó allí).»
