यदिदं दृश्यते किंचिद् भूत॑ स्थावरजड्रमम् | पुन: संक्षिप्यते सर्व जगत् प्राप्ते युगक्षये,यह जो कुछ भी स्थावर-जंगम जगत दृष्टिगोचर होता है, वह सब प्रलयकाल आनेपर अपने कारणमें विलीन हो जाता है
yad idaṃ dṛśyate kiñcid bhūtaṃ sthāvara-jaṅgamam | punaḥ saṃkṣipyate sarvaṃ jagat prāpte yugakṣaye ||
