अध्याय 91: अरिष्ट-लक्षण, मृत्यु-संस्कार, पाशुपत-धारणा तथा ओङ्कार-उपासना
मात्रा चार्धं च तिस्रस्तु विज्ञेयाः परमार्थतः तत्प्रयुक्तस्तु यो योगी तस्य सालोक्यमाप्नुयात्
mātrā cārdhaṃ ca tisrastu vijñeyāḥ paramārthataḥ tatprayuktastu yo yogī tasya sālokyamāpnuyāt
En el sentido supremo, deben comprenderse de verdad las tres medidas (mātrā-s) y la media medida. El yogui que aplica esa disciplina (la recitación sagrada medida) alcanza sālokya—morada en el mismo reino divino que Śiva, el Pati que libera al paśu del pāśa.

It links outer devotion to inner discipline: correct, measured mantra-recitation (mātrā and half-mātrā) refines the worshipper’s consciousness, making Linga-pūjā a yogic means toward Śiva’s realm (sālokya).
Śiva is implied as Pati—the Lord whose sphere is attainable when the pashu (individual soul) practices the right saṃskāra of mantra and yoga, loosening pāśa (bondage) through disciplined application.
Mantra-japa with precise timing—knowing the three mātrā-s and the half-mātrā—presented as a Pāśupata-oriented yogic discipline that culminates in sālokya-mukti.
