El discípulo debe adorar y honrar al Ācārya en todo momento con el máximo empeño, ofreciendo dones como elefantes, caballos, carros, joyas preciosas, campos y aun casas, para que el sendero hacia Śiva (Pati) sea alcanzado mediante el servicio humilde y el dar conforme al dharma.
