Shivamurti–Pratishtha Phala: Shivalaya-Nirmana, Kshetra-Mahatmya, Tirtha-Snana, and Mandala-Vidhi

Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It links Shiva’s sanctified tīrthas to practical purification: by dawn bathing at Shiva’s holy places, even grave sins are said to be removed, preparing the worshipper for Linga-pūjā with greater inner and outer purity.
Shiva is implied as Pati—the liberating Lord whose presence makes a tīrtha spiritually potent; contact with what is consecrated to him loosens pāśa (bondage) and restores the paśu toward purity.
Prātaḥ-snānā (dawn bathing) at Shiva-tīrthas is highlighted as a purificatory rite that supports Shaiva sādhana—cleansing pāpa and stabilizing the practitioner for mantra, pūjā, and Pāśupata-oriented discipline.
