सूर्यरथ-रचना, ध्रुव-प्रेरणा, मास-गणाः च

Jyotish-chakra: Surya’s Motion and Monthly Retinues

अहोरात्रं रथेनासाव् एकचक्रेण तु भ्रमन् सप्तद्वीपसमुद्राङ्गां सप्तभिः सर्पते दिवि

ahorātraṃ rathenāsāv ekacakreṇa tu bhraman saptadvīpasamudrāṅgāṃ saptabhiḥ sarpate divi

Día y noche, él se mueve en su carro de una sola rueda; girando sin cesar, recorre los cielos, ciñendo los siete continentes y los siete océanos, impulsado por siete corceles. Así avanza Kāla, el Tiempo, ligando los mundos en un movimiento ordenado bajo el Señor, el Pati.
