नवयोजनसाहस्रो विस्तारायामतः स्मृतः द्विगुणो ऽपि रथोपस्थाद् ईषादण्डः प्रमाणतः

Transliteration

navayojanasāhasro vistārāyāmataḥ smṛtaḥ dviguṇo 'pi rathopasthād īṣādaṇḍaḥ pramāṇataḥ

Translation

Su anchura y su longitud se enseñan como de nueve mil yojanas; y, según la medida establecida, el timón o pértiga (īṣā-daṇḍa) que se extiende desde la plataforma del carro se dice que es el doble de esa dimensión.
