Shloka 7

मेरुवर्णनम्—प्रमाण, दिग्विभाग, देवपुरी-विमान-निवासाः

मूलायामप्रमाणं तु विस्तारान् मूलतो गिरेः ऊचुर्विस्तारमस्यैव द्विगुणं मूलतो गिरेः

mūlāyāmapramāṇaṃ tu vistārān mūlato gireḥ ūcurvistāramasyaiva dviguṇaṃ mūlato gireḥ

Declararon que la medida fundamental (de la base) debe tomarse como la anchura desde el pie de la montaña; y añadieron que la anchura de esta estructura ha de ser el doble de esa medida tomada en la base. Así queda fijada la proporción, para que la forma sagrada—digna de la instalación de Śiva—permanezca firme en una simetría dhármica.
