दारुवनलीला—नीललोहितपरीक्षा, ब्रह्मोपदेशः, अतिथिधर्मः, संन्यासक्रमः
वक्तुमर्हसि देवेश संन्यासं वै क्रमेण तु द्रष्टुं वै देवदेवेशम् उग्रं भीमं कपर्दिनम्

Oh Señor de los devas, dignaos explicar, en su debido orden, la disciplina del saṃnyāsa (renunciación), por la cual se alcanza la visión del Dios de los dioses: Rudra, el fiero y sobrecogedor Kapardin. Sólo Él es Pati, el libertador de los paśu (almas atadas) de los lazos del pāśa.
